PR11 Rice
Parmal or PR11 Rice is an entire variety of long grain rice which is cultivated in the Punjab region in India. After cooking, this rice has uniform size kernels. It has an average grain size of 6.6 to 6.8 millimeters. The grain is elongated 1.5 times when it is cooked properly. The PR11 is abundant in antioxidants, including flavonoids, such as myricetin, quercetin, and apigenin.
